Day 01 :

MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK AND ZIWA RHINO SANCTUARY VISIT

MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK

Your adventure starts with an early morning pick-up from Kampala or Entebbe by your experienced safari guide. After a short briefing, set off on a scenic drive towards Murchison Falls National Park.

On the way, make a stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, Uganda’s home of rhino conservation. Here, you will take part in a guided rhino trek through the sanctuary’s natural landscape.

Walk through the bush with your ranger as you look out for the rhinos. Once spotted, you will have time to watch these impressive animals from a safe and respectful distance while learning more about their conservation.

After the trek, continue towards Murchison Falls National Park. Enjoy lunch at Kabalega Diners before proceeding to the park.

Later in the afternoon, arrive at your lodge, check in, and take some time to relax. Dinner and an overnight stay follow at the lodge.

Day 02 :

MORNING GAME DRIVE AND NILE BOAT CRUISE

GAME DRIVE AND NILE BOAT CRUISE

Start your day with an early breakfast before heading out for a morning game drive through Murchison Falls National Park.

Drive across the open savannah as your guide helps you search for some of the park’s most remarkable wildlife. Keep an eye out for elephants, lions, buffaloes, giraffes and, if you're lucky, leopards. You may also encounter Uganda kobs, hartebeests and a wide range of colourful birds.

After the game drive, return to the lodge for lunch and some time to relax.

In the afternoon, head to the Nile for a relaxing boat cruise towards the bottom of Murchison Falls. The riverbanks offer excellent opportunities to see hippos and Nile crocodiles resting along the water. Watch the skies and surrounding vegetation for fish eagles, kingfishers, herons, and other bird species.

As the boat gets closer to the falls, the scenery becomes more dramatic. Watch as the Nile forces its way through a narrow gorge before plunging downstream with tremendous power.

After the cruise, continue to the top of Murchison Falls for a guided walk. From the viewpoints, enjoy breathtaking views of the river and surrounding landscape. It is also a perfect opportunity to take photographs and appreciate the incredible force of the falls.

Day 03 :

DEPARTURE TO KAMPALA OR ENTEBBE

Enjoy a peaceful morning at the lodge as you take in the sounds and scenery of Murchison Falls National Park. After breakfast, check out and begin your journey back to Kampala or Entebbe.

Travel through the beautiful countryside and enjoy the changing landscapes along the way. Stop for lunch at a suitable restaurant before continuing with the drive.

Arrive in Kampala or Entebbe later in the afternoon. Your guide will drop you off at your preferred location, bringing your 3-day Murchison Falls safari to an end.
