Your 5-Day Uganda Primates Safari begins with a warm welcome from your A&S Safaris driver-guide in Kampala or Entebbe. After a short briefing, travel west to Kibale Forest National Park, Uganda's famous chimpanzee destination. Enjoy beautiful views of tea plantations, rolling hills, and the stunning Albertine Rift Valley along the way.

Arrive in Fort Portal for a relaxing lunch before continuing to your forest lodge. Later, unwind at the lodge or join an optional walk through Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary. The wetland is renowned for its rich birdlife, monkeys, and peaceful natural surroundings.

Queen Elizabeth National Park

Start the day with an early breakfast before heading to Kibale Forest National Park headquarters for a briefing. Then, join an experienced ranger for an exciting chimpanzee tracking adventure through the rainforest. Spend one unforgettable hour observing chimpanzees as they feed, groom, and move through the forest canopy.

After lunch, continue to Queen Elizabeth National Park, Uganda's most diverse wildlife destination. Along the way, enjoy scenic crater lakes and views of the Rwenzori Mountains. Arrive at your lodge in the evening, then relax before dinner and your overnight stay.

Game Drive & Boat Cruise on Kazinga Channel

Begin the day with an early morning game drive across the Kasenyi Plains in Queen Elizabeth National Park. Look out for elephants, lions, buffaloes, Uganda kobs, and other wildlife. You may also spot the African fish eagle, grey-crowned crane, and many other bird species.

After lunch, enjoy a relaxing boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, linking Lake George and Lake Edward. Watch hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and buffaloes gather along the shoreline. The channel also supports hundreds of waterbirds, making it a paradise for wildlife and bird enthusiasts.

After breakfast, travel south to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to the endangered mountain gorillas. Along the way, pass through the Ishasha Sector, famous for its rare tree-climbing lions. Keep your camera ready to capture these remarkable predators resting in fig trees.

Later, arrive at your lodge near Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and check in. Spend the evening relaxing and preparing for your gorilla trekking adventure. Enjoy dinner before an overnight stay surrounded by the peaceful rainforest.

Today is the highlight of your 5-Day Uganda Primates Safari with an unforgettable gorilla trekking experience. After breakfast, attend a briefing at Bwindi Impenetrable National Park headquarters. Then, follow your ranger into the rainforest to search for your assigned gorilla family. The trek may last between two and six hours, depending on the gorillas' location. Once found, enjoy one memorable hour watching them feed, play, and interact.

After the trek, return to your lodge for lunch and some well-earned relaxation. Later, begin your journey back to Kampala or Entebbe through Uganda's beautiful countryside. Arrive in the evening, bringing your 5-Day Uganda Primates Safari with A&S Safaris to a memorable close.
